1.What is Aeration Diffuser?-Not all the aeration diffuser is same
One of the most effective way to dissolve gases (like oxygen, CO2 or air) in water is by releasing them as tiny bubbles-the smaller the bubbles, the better the effect of dissolved oxygen.
The ultra-fine bubble diffuser is an innovative and specially designed ultra fine porous (0.5-0.8micrions) ceramic plate creates a dense cloud of 0.01-0.05mm bubbles ,maximizing gas transfer efficiency, far surpassing airstones, porous hose or membrane diffusers. The flat-plate design ensures uniform bubble distribution while reducing coalescence, achieving over 80% oxygen absorption (depending on depth and flow rate).
Experimental results show the microporous ceramic plates achieve superior performance with oxygen dissolution efficiency 160-280% higher than conventional plates, reducing oxygen consumption by 40-60%.
Additionally,The aeration plates operate without electrical requirements, only a high-pressure oxygen connection. This makes them ideal for deployment in areas with unreliable power infrastructure and particularly suitable for live fish transportation systems.
2.How Does Aeration Diffuser works?
AquaPure Aeration Diffuser enhances gas dissolution in liquids by maximizing gas-liquid contact area. Gas passes through pores of microporous ceramic aeration, dispersing into microbubbles (0.01-0.05mm) that dissolve during upward movement, thereby increasing liquid gas concentration and achieving targeted gas levels.

4.Aeration Diffuser-Benefits at a glance
• Ultra-Efficient Oxygenation: Generates 0.01-0.05mm micro-bubbles,Achieves 30% oxygen absorption at 1m depth, with 5-8% efficiency gain per additional 0.5m depth and 40-60% outperforming comparable products
✓ 0.01-0.05mm micro-bubbles
✓ 30% absorption at 1m depth
✓ +5-8% efficiency boost every 0.5m
✓ 40-60% better than standard aerators
• High Pressure Resistance: Proprietary technology enables ultimate bearing capacity of 0.6-0.7 MPa, eliminating the risk of disk rupture that occurs in competing products at 0.3 MPa (3 kgf/cm²).
• Superior Performance: Oxygen dissolution efficiency 160-280% higher than conventional plates, reducing oxygen consumption by 40-60%.
• Corrosion Resistance: Features a marine-grade composite outer layer with UV stabilization. Maintains structural integrity for 5-8 years under normal service conditions, resistant to seawater corrosion etc.
• Easy to install with trouble-free operation
• Simple ceramic plate maintenance - provides reliable bubbling performance
5.Installation-Aeration Diffuser
The best position for the diffuser(s) depends on the specific setup-place them where they can spread dissolved oxygen most effectively.
For optimal performance:
-Install the diffuser at deeper levels for higher efficiency.
-Ensure no barriers block bubble ascent, as screens may merge bubbles.
-Utilize water circulation to improve D.O. distribution.
6.Operation & Maintenance
Always start with the pressure regulator in the closed position (fully unscrewed) before activating gas flow.Gradually increase pressure to 20-30 psi (138-207 kPa) if a flow meter not being used.
With a flow meter, set regulator to its calibration pressure (typically 50 psi/345 kPa) and control flow through the meter.Inspect for leaks and purge any water from the diffuser's air plenum.
Ultra-fine bubble diffusers require minimal maintenance. Regular cleaning with a stiff brush or pressure washer prevents algal/biofilm accumulation. For severe clogging:
1.Air-dry the ceramic element
2.Resurface with supplied 60-grit sandpaper
3.Disinfect by soaking (may cause cosmetic staining)
4.Drain disinfectant from air plenum before reinstallation
Note: Inspect check valves after prolonged storage or if tubing contains water.
7.Typical Application-Where can you use Aeration Diffuser?
