As a 100% bio-resistant filter media,it's self-sterilizing surface prevent bacterial growth.When its contact with water flowing through the filter, The water moleculed and dissoloved oxygen transformed into free radicals on the surface area of AFM(catalytic reaction). This helps to prevents bio fouling and protect from bacterial colonisation. Free radicals oxidise dissolved organic matter and heavy metals.

5.Application-Where can you use Activated Filter Media?
Δ Pre-treatment of RO systems
RO membrane fouling and its consequences from higher concentration polarization leads increased operating pressure,Poor permeate quality,frequent CIP's, increased O&M,increased membrane replacement ,loss of RO membrane warranty as well.
